To advance the Gospel of Jesus and his kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of labourers living and discipling among the lost.
— The Navigators Calling
Our work is partly made possible through the generous support of individuals and churches who give through the Navigators.
Why do we work for the Navigators? The Navigators is a movement of people who seek to help laypeople minister to others in practical ways. We give our time and resources to helping others to fulfill the great commission.
We are passionate about seeing the church grow locally, nationally and globally through people who have a vision for discipleship, growing in their own faith and so being able to help others do that.
There are many promises that have inspired us, and some of them are on this page, with the Gospel of the Old Testament, Isaiah, featuring strongly!
The Lord has led us to unusual places, and Isaiah has spoken clearly to us - Isa 42 points to things that God has and will do to support us, and one thing that he will never do - he will not forsake us. We yearn to feed people spiritually, and to build up the church through that. Many years ago, Isa 58 spoke to us very clearly.
We pray that what we are able to do through the Navigators will see the foundations raised up - we seek to repair breaches between Christians in Orthodox and Evangelical traditions. This means discipleship in all cases - the body of Christ does not benefit when parts of it do not relate well.
